POLIMETRICA is a laboratory for publishing studies and publishing productions.

we do research, education and innovation activities, aimed at developing and promoting the culture of publishing all over the world.

we believe that publishing has the task and the duty to design knowledge products that must be accessible to everyone in the world, trying to overcome the limits and barriers that could restrict their circulation.

in order to achieve this goal, we think that it is necessary to foster and promote research aimed at understanding how the various types of knowledge products can be structured and made accessible.

it is certainly an ambitious goal, but we strongly believe that innovative publishing, that works to remove accessibility barriers to knowledge products, could contribute to speed up research, to enrich education, to let different worlds talk to each other and to lay the foundations for a sustainable development through the shared construction of knowledge.

technology gives us the opportunity to overcome at least part of the above mentioned barriers. therefore we feel ready to face this challenge and we are looking for partners who share this goal with us and who participate concretely in making knowledge become a free and accessible common good.
